Original Sunflower & Thistle Watercolor Painting

Not every season is about blooming. Some are about enduring. 

On our Wyoming ranch, field flowers do not bloom for decoration. They rise in wind, endure heat, and stand their ground through hoof and weather. Some fade. Some hold strong.

In this painting, the sunflower softens as late summer turns, while the thistles remain upright — steady in the pasture where we keep the bulls.

Painted with gentle washes and deliberate line, this piece reflects tenderness beside endurance.

Original watercolor, 8 x 10 inches.  Ships matted to 11 x 14. Only one exists.
