Expressive Flowers

What happens when you let your imagination take over and allow flowers to become anything they want to be?

Expressive Flowers began with the simple pleasure of playing with watercolor, ink, and the endless possibilities of imaginary flowers.

Some blossoms are round, others ruffled or scalloped. Some are covered with dots and patterns, while others dance across the page. Cheerful yellows mingle with lavender, turquoise, and soft greens, all gathered in a tall, striped vase.

I enjoyed letting each flower develop its own personality, without worrying about botanical accuracy or following any particular rules. The result is a lively gathering of fanciful blooms, full of unexpected shapes, patterns, and color.

Painting this way reminds me that my creativity doesn't always need a plan. Sometimes the greatest pleasure comes from simply seeing what happens.

Bring Expressive Flowers into your home as a cheerful reminder to welcome a little playfulness, imagination, and unexpected beauty into every day.
