Butterfly Weed Leaves was painted  after I saw how this humble plant offers nectar and shelter to monarch butterflies — how it simply does what it’s meant to do, steady and patient.  I noticed the gentle rhythm of the leaves and the promise held in each tiny bud.

This watercolor with ink is my way of honoring that quiet exchange between garden and wing. It’s meant to bring a sense of calm into your space — a reminder that beauty lives in noticing, and healing often begins with small, caring moments.
