Before the Storm was painted from that moment.  I worked while remembering storms from years at sea — the pull of wind, the shifting light, the way the moment demanded full attention. Here in Wyoming, I felt that same gathering energy and painted it as movement, awareness, and breath.

Flowing washes of teal, violet, and soft lilac echo the rhythm of rising winds and changing skies. This abstract watercolor brings a sense of balance — a reminder that calm and change often arrive together.
