The Sidon Necklace | Ancient Treasures Collection
Glass beads were produced in ancient Sidon, on the coast of the eastern Mediterranean. Did a Sidonese trading vessel founder, leaving beads such as these to be discovered, washed ashore by the seas and etched by the salt of the waves?
The Sidon is a triple strand necklace of my handmade etched glass bubbles misshapen by the idea of time. The beads shift in color and glow depending on the light. This ancient treasures necklace is 17 inches long and extends in increments to 21 inches with chain and lobster claw clasp. (Learn more about the clasp here.)The Sidon Necklace dances with blues, greens, deep purples and has one soft pink accent. The spacers are gold toned titanium.
