Java Necklace | Ancient Treasures Collection
Chinese glass bead-makers lived in Java in the 17th Century. The beads were traded and sold throughout the East, Middle East, Japan, Africa and Europe.
The Ancient Treasures bead I made inspired by Java is much more modern looking, with a touch of the old Orient. The large pendant bead has a rustic ivory glass center encased in clear smoke glass and hangs from a hand made bale. The pendant is suspended from a hand hammered brass neck wire, approximately 17 inches in diameter.
