The Roman | Ancient Treasures Collection
The Romans were well known for their glass bead-making from 100 B.C. to 400 A.D. (and still today for that matter.) Everywhere they went they took glass beads to trade. Were the beads in The Roman Necklace lost at sea and etched over time? Ah, only in my imagination.
The Roman Necklace is 18" of hollow glass beads, etched and shaped to look ancient and accented with oxidized hand hammered beads. The hollow glass beads, in green, blue and deep purple, shift in color depending on the ambient light.
